Clown Fish 2007 Chardonnay

The grapes for this 'Cowaramup' Chardonnay were hand picked and cold soaked for 24 hours, then whole clustered pressed to maintain freshness and maximise flavour. The wine was fermented and matured in new french oak barrels for a short period of only four weeks, so as not to detract from the intense flavours exhibited by the fruit, but still provide added complexity.

The 2007 Clownfish Chardonnay presents aromas of citrus, nectarine and tart pear. The palate is dry mouth-filling and has a crisp toasty finish. An ideal aperitif on its own, also a delight with seafood and summer cuisine.

Clown Fish 2006 Merlot Cabernet

The blending of this wine is carried out with the greatest of care and appreciation for the strength and structure of the fruit components that make up this blend. After 10 months in french oak this wine exhibits scented aromas of blackcurrant and lifted cedar with sweet ripe plum overtones. The palate is supple and soft with lingering tannins providing substance and balance. Great for drinking now or will reward with cellaring for 2 to 5 years.

Clown Fish 2006 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

The grapes for this classic Margaret River blend were cool fermented to retain their freshness and personality. They were then treated with minimal intervention to allow for the full expression of the delicate flavours displayed by these varieties. Aromas of gooseberry, figs and passionfruit are cradled in a crisp and refreshing finish. A delight with seafood, salads and summer crusine

Clown Fish 2006 Shiraz

This Margaret River Shiraz is starting to show the rich and distinctive fruit characters this region is renowned for.The wine dislpays savoury characters accompanied by mulberry and blackberry flavours intertwined with darker red fruits, all presented with succulent fruit acidity in a balanced tannin framework. Finishing with a background of spicy oak. A great accompaniment with Mediterranean cuisine.
